University administration sucks!

Semester 1 results were released yesterday. I did okay in Tourism Enterprise Management and Managing the Service Organisation (both distinctions), but they claimed I only got a pass for Business Law and Macroeconomics. Not to sound egotistical, but I think the quality of my work is much better than just a pass (and only just a pass in Macro!).

Thinking something was up, I contacted the subject co-ordinators. Low and behold, the Macro mark is wrong because they've put the marks from one of my assignments under my maiden name, instead of Radisich (which the Student Admin have been advised of, twice now.) So I actually got a distinction for Macro as well! YAY! I also tried to contact the co-ordinator for Business Law yesterday, to no avail.

And just now, he replies saying that, yes, I was correct and they were missing some of my marks because they were under Wilkinson instead of Radisich. So I in fact got a credit instead of a pass (not my finest work but I'm not going to settle for a pass, especially on an open book exam!).

Let's just hope they actually make the effort to update them formally!
